The Royal Welsh Show
After making the decision to enter two youngstock and a mare and foal for the show, we were
prepared for a very busy time ahead! Little did we know, when we set off on the five hour journey,
all four  ponies would return home 2015 prizewinners! The first to go was our yearling filly,
Westaire Symphony. Although a little overwhelmed by the atmosphere, she managed to contain
herself and finish fifth in a class of eighteen fillies! Next to go was Westaire Tamarin; Superbly
shown by Alan Charlesworth, he gave a beautifully well balanced show, gaining second prize in
the three year old colt class.  The following day was adult day and it was the turn of our
junior broodmare, Westaire Savannah and her filly foal, Westaire Senorita. The competition
was strong with some lovely mares forward, but Savannah fulfilled our dreams when she was
pulled top and finished 1st. Gareth Roberts very kindly offered to help out by showing the foal.
He did a superb job and Senorita was brought forward to win the filly foal class. Two firsts,
one second and a fifth was far more than we could ever have imagined !!
The National Welsh Championship Show

Savannah once again surpassed all expectations and won the title of
Supreme Section B National Brightwells Champion for the second year in succession!
Congratulations to Westaire Sienna, owned by Carolyn Cox and Jessica Amy, for winning a
Bronze Medal. Quite an achievement for a yearling filly who has been shown less than a handful of times!!
