Westaire Saffron Lace
After almost two years absence from the Showring, Saffron Lace made an appearance in the Broodmare Class
at East Midlands WPCA show where she finished Champion Section B, winning a bronze medal
Westaire Senorita and Paddock Marquis…
All ready for the journey to Glanusk Stallion Show. Sadly, due to a breakdown
on the way, we were unable to make it to the show
Denbigh & Flint Show
Undoubtedly, one of the main highlights of this years showing calendar, has to be when
Paddock Marquis was Pulled top to win a very strong Horse of the Year show qualifier.  
He later went on to finish Reserve HOYS Champion to the Section D.

We were delighted to hear that Westaire Tarantella (Four year old stallion) won his class
at his first show under saddle, with his new owner, Alice Minns

We had decided to also enter our stud stallion, Paddock Marquis for the Silver Medal
class, held during the morning. He gave a lovely well balanced show to finish 2nd
We were delighted to hear the news that Paul & Beth Loisil had made the decision to
allow their broodmare, Westaire Galena take the long journey from France, to attend
this years Royal Welsh Show. Beautifully shown by Liesl Burt, Galena flew round
the ring in a strong senior broodmare class to finish 3rd
                                            Congratulation to all concerned!

Marquis attended his first Medal show since we purchased him last October. He won a strong
stallion class, finishing Champion Section B, winning a Bronze Medal at The Northern All Welsh Show
Paddock Marquis
It has also been a very successful day for the two Westaire stallions, Tarantella & Tolomeo. Tarantella
finished 1st and champion in The Picton qualifier at The NPS Spring Festival, ridden by his owner,
Alice Minns, whilst Tolomeo had a clear round for his owner Fabien Pellerin. Congratulations to All
their connections - We are so very proud of their success!

Westaire Savannah finished first in the Senior Broodmare class
and was selected in the final three for Champion & Reserve. Her
Filly foal, Westaire Tianna won the foal class and finished
Reserve Supreme Welsh foal

Paddock Marquis attended his first HOYS qualifier where he finished 3rd, gaining
Joint highest conformation marks with the winner and equal marks with the second
place pony
The Royal Highland Show
On the 25th June, we made the 5 ½ hour journey over the border into
Scotland to attend the Royal Highland Show with Marquis. Again,
he was awarded third place in the HOYS qualifier. On this occasion,
He claimed second highest ride mark out of twenty five other ponies!

finishing 2nd in the Stallion class & Reserve Section B Champion
